Endless Sporadic, Where Is Their Label?

Despite having been featured in both Guitar Hero III and Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland, An Endless Sporadic remains unsigned. Their music features metal structure and chord progressions, yet utilizes clean and innovative melodies. Their songs are not predominately heavy, but still offer those with long enough hair an opportunity to do some head-banging. If you can’t master Impulse, their hit from Guitar Hero III, on expert, I still recommend you give An Endless Sporadic a listen. Even those who steer clear of metal might be pleasantly surprised.

isnt it better that they remained unsigned? at least from a major (which wouldnt help them).

I think it has its advantages and disadvantages. Unfortunately I think people in general are a little more hesitant to pick up an unsigned band and start listening to it. By not being signed, they lose the benefits of the record label’s publicists. But like you said, major label might not be that helpful. They’re flooded with so many other bands. Though signing with a record will surely take money from the band and can instigate ownership debates regarding the songs.

“Impulse” is a pretty sweet song, it was a favorite back when GHIII was still being played around here (pre-Rock Band). Listening to some of their other material on their myspace page, it all sounds pretty good, but this kind of thing just doesn’t hold my interest for longer than a few songs. Cool band all the same though, they’re certainly doing some interesting things and deserve any recognition they get.
